Marafa Depression + pictures

Sunday afternoon Kristen, Kristen, David, Alyssa and me went to the Marafa Depression. A 45 min drive from Malindi, you find Kenyas answer to the Grand Canyon. It's not as grand, but it's still pretty amazing. Have a look:

Breathtaking. And we got to walk down there.

From Marafa towards Tsavo National Park
Last night we put all of the Kristens photos over on my computer, so here are some more Lamu pics:

I thought all men knew how to fish. Well, James and Dave proved me wrong. Not that I got any fish either, but still...

Shela beach
We all got henna tattoos our last night in Shela
And tomorrow we're off to Watamu Marine National Park to watch dolphins, coral, fish, snorkel, eat lobster, share a bottle of white wine and then to the Gede ruins. We got a discount without even asking for it. Why? We live at Tana Guest House (paying 300 KSH each per night, equivalent to 20 NOK). The guide said "When you live at Tana, I know you're on a budget."
